ANASTÁSIA EAST

                It’s been a long time since my last post here. But inspiration is such a thing, either you have it, or not. Strongly Ramadan and a trip to Belarus knocked me down a little. Although I spent on Ramadan only two weeks in the Emirates, at that time I had to partially try on the Muslim traditions. Clubs and bars are closed during the day, even at work in the office you can not drink and eat, all my friends go on vacations. So life seems to be in slow-motion and everything comes to life only after sunset. I decided to go in Belarus during Ramadan, visit my family and address some issues at home. For the record I had depression on arrival first in Belarus and then before leaving. The first days when you are plunged into a past life, it becomes sad. I really began to miss Emirati friends, parties and the sea. And at the end of the holiday I didn’t want to leave. After all, it’s hard to live away without family. Especially now when I have a newly born sister Alice, she is so adorable just want to squeeze her more and more! Already miss this baby! So after returning to Abu Dhabi I’m just thinking about returning home. There are definitely benefits and some risks. So I gave myself a time until the end of August to decide where I want to live.

                And now a little bit about Belarus! I tried as hard as possible not to gain weight, because it is impossible to avoid my mother’s and grandmother’s food! The products are much tastier, more natural than in the Emirates. We went with my family to our summer house. Although this year there were a lot of mosquitoes and I already forgot how to run from them! hahahah. Also we celebrate birthday of my cousin Karina. I can’t believe she’s already 19! By the way, I went to the club with her for the first time (but for me she was still a small baby). My friend Veronica and Karina and I went to all the best clubs and bars in Gomel. Of course there is a difference between night life in the Emirates and in Belarus. But I met a lot of friends from past party life!

                Прошло уже много времени после моего последнего поста здесь. Но вдохновение такая штука, что-либо есть, либо нет. Сильно выбили меня из колеи рамадан и поездка в Беларусь.  Хоть я и застала рамадана только две недели в Эмиратах, но в это время приходиться частично примерить на себя мусульманские традиции. Клубы и бары закрыты, днём тоже основная часть заведений закрыты, даже на работе в офисе нельзя пить и есть, все друзья и знакомые разъезжаются по отпускам, в общем жизнь будто замирает и все оживает только после заката и главной молитвы. Вот и я решила в это время съездить домой, навестить семью и порешать скопившиеся дела на родине.        Но что хочу заметить, так это депрессия по приезду сначала в Беларуси, а потом такое же состояние по отлету. Первые дни, когда окунаешься в прошлую жизнь, становится грустно. Я очень стала скучать по эмиратским друзьям, вечеринкам и морю. А под конец отпуска наоборот уезжать не хотелось. Все таки без семьи вдали от дома тяжело. А у меня тем более сестра родилась, которую так и хочется потискать! Уже скучаю по этой малышке!  Так что по возвращению в Абу-Даби я задумалась, а не вернуться ли мне обратно. Везде свои минусы и плюсы. Вот и я дала себе срок до конца августа определиться, где я хочу жить, вполне возможно, что вернусь!

                А теперь немного о Беларуси! Я максимально старалась не набрать вес, потому что невозможно отказаться от маминой и бабушкиной еды! Да и продукты намного вкуснее, натуральнее, чем в Эмиратах. Ездили с семьей на дачу, правда в этом году уж очень много было комаров и мошек, а я уже забыла как это – бегать от них! хахахах. Еще отметили день рождения моей двоюродной сестры Карины. Поверить не могу, что ей уже 19! Между прочим, я впервые с ней в клуб ходила, хотя для меня она всё равно осталась младшей сестрой.  В общем, мы с моей подругой Вероникой и Кариной прошлись по всем лучшим клубам и барам Гомеля. Естественно чувствуется разница между ночной жизнью в Эмиратах и в Беларуси.  Зато я встретила очень много знакомых тусовщиков!
